Pictures of Nothing: Bookworks and Photographs, was the first solo exhibition of Victor Sira in Tokyo at IG Photo Gallery in 2022.
The exhibition showcased forty-five photographs alongside my Print-On-Demand bookworks created between 2009 and 2015, as well as my recent Risograph works. The purpose of the exhibition was to invite viewers to interpret it in a manner similar to learning how to decipher traces or petroglyphs. Each photograph and book served as a means to examine, confirm, and construct a comprehensive perspective of one's own reality.

Within the exhibition, visitors had the opportunity to pick up the books and experience not only "seeing" but also "reading," creating a dynamic interplay between the prints on the walls and the photographs within the pages.
